PROJECT INSPECTION PHASE
SOLAR IRRADIANCE MEASUREMENT
When choosing locations for solar power projects, the main requirement is the potential of solar radiation. The more solar radiation in the area where the project will be built, the more energy can be generated.
SHADING OBSERVATION
The environment surrounding the project site should be considered during site selection progress. Any formations that can cause shadows on the site will reduce the productivity of the solar power (tall trees, buildings, mountains, etc.).
CONTAMINATION FROM DIRT AND DUST
The site health of a solar power project in future should be analyzed for any contamination near or around the site. This problem will be carried by the wind or construction to solar panels’ surface and contaminate them, which needs to be cleaned regularly to avoid significant yield loss.
TRANSMISSION CAPACITY EXAMINATION
The grid connection of a solar project requires the stable connection to a power transmission line designated by an energy distribution company, currently EVN in Vietnam. An examination of the stability of the transmission system is required to ensure the grid connection of the project.
TRANSPORTABILITY CONSIDERATION
Transportation is a major consideration. If accessing the site is a challenge, labor and transportation costs will be higher than initial investment. Identify problems that may affect to project transportation will help designing the project and estimating the budget in the most accurate way.
DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, OPERATION AND ACCEPTANCE PHASE
DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION
Based on data collected from the inspection phase, experts will provide project design drawings to achieve the most optimal function and performance. Complete the procedures for obtaining permits and approvals from authorities at all levels to carry out the construction work.
OPERATION AND ACCEPTANCE
Electric Bird will perform on-site inspection and commissioning of all installed equipment, carried out by members of a group of expert engineers and technical teams using high technology equipment. Such as inspecting the work by drone combined with thermal camera to check the quality of the panels, check the voltage of the battery and inverter, check the voltage of the DC and AC wires, the substation acceptance test, etc. to ensure the entire system operated well before it was officially put into operation.
COMPLETE THE GRID CONNECTION PROCEDURE
With experience as EPC general contractor for many solar power projects, Electric Bird will assist investors in consulting the necessary legal procedures to sign purchase contracts with EVN in the local area.
MONITOR PROJECT OPERATION
After the project is completed and put into operation, Electric Bird will provide free consultation on the operation of the Project.
